bluebells bluebells bluebells ❀

So this year I was flicking through the Trust website and I saw so many places that do bluebells so we decided we’d go to one close to home and see what it was like. Badbury Hill is a favourite of ours, it’s a really big woodland area close to Coleshill, we took Rue there last year and carried him in the sling and then stopped for a picnic stood up under some massive trees as it was raining. this time is was much better as A baba could walk and B it wasn’t raining. If your planning a visit there when it is bluebell season or if it is just a lovely day a tip would be to go early, we was there for about  945am and got a good space but when we left at 12pm there wasn’t any spaces, i think the car park only fits like 40ish cars, plus theres no facilities.

We stopped off at M&S before hand (treated ourselves instead of making lunch) & picked up some lunch, when we got there we walked around for a couple of hours, Rue played in a couple of the many dens they have readily built there for kids to play on, there’s also a few tree swings for bigger kids/ adults 😉 then we sat in the boot of the car and had what can only be described as a many picnic!
